We need your help……

Like most music venues all over the country, our doors are closed for now and we need your support to ensure we can survive and re-open when it becomes possible. We are also determined to offer a high-quality online alternative in the meanwhile.

I would like to thank all of the many people who contributed to the success of our online festival by giving so generously. Your help meant that we were able to employ almost all of the musicians who were due to come to our home in Leicester for a ‘normal’ festival - at a time when those in the creative industries have lost most of their work.

The Leicester International Music Festival is a charity and our mission is to bring you great music played by the world’s best musicians.

In addition, we are committed to encouraging diversity in our concert programmes; we run a successful and rewarding annual education project and we encourage young people to attend concerts free of charge through our relationship with the Cavatina Chamber Music Trust.
