Data held for Friends of Leicester International Music Festival (LIMF):
On application to become a Friend of LIMF, we ask for

· Postcode
· Phone number
· Email address
We communicate with Friends by post, email, and occasionally by phone if we have a query.
As a Friend you will be asked to renew your membership annually, and sign to indicate your consent for LIMF to use your contact details for the sole purpose of informing you about LIMF activities and associated musical events. This is termed opt-in consent.
We maintain records of your subscription status (amount paid, amount outstanding). We need these data to collect subscriptions and therefore to help run the Festival. We will also ask whether you are prepared to Gift Aid the relevant aspects of your subscriptions etc., and will have a record of your Gift Aid mandate. It is important that you let us know of any change to your Gift Aid status.

Inclusion on the Mailing List is by request, for the sole purpose of being kept informed of LIMF events. Information is sent exclusively by post. The data are used for no other purpose.
Sensitive personal data
We do not collect or store sensitive personal data (such as information relating to health, beliefs or political affiliation).
Data security
Electronic data and databases are stored on secure computer systems and the information is accessible only by members of the Board.
